Kawakawa and honey balm

This artisan created balm is a combination of skin conditioning oils and the magic of the sacred kawakawa plant whose active ingredients are known to improve uncomfortable skin conditions like eczema, boils, bites and stings. The natural scent of local bees wax and gentle botanicals come alive with the warmth of the skin. A wonderous balm to assist with irritated skin, sealed with a moisturising kiss of honey *note the lid for the unscented kawakawa and honey balm is silver not gold as pictured.
 
Kawakawa is a beautiful green plant with heart-shaped leaves seen as a pest by many gardeners. However we still only take the oldest leaves from the tree, understanding the need for sustainability and the increase in active ingredients within the older, more 'holey' leaves. We know the location and harvest moon of each small batch that we create but do not turn away kawakawa that might come to us from particularly turbulent storms or gardeners!
